Oven Roasted Broccoli is a super easy broccoli recipe. Broccoli turns out delicious golden, tender, crispy and what’s more it takes less than 15 minutes to make. It is great to snack on its own or serves as an excellent side for your main courses. I make this with fresh broccoli florets and sometimes with frozen broccoli. Just thaw frozen florets running under cold water, drain and its ready to bake.
Broccoli is a super vegetable rich in fiber, iron, potassium and in vitamins C and K. According to an article in BBC good food, it has several health benefits – https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/guide/health-benefits-broccoli
Oven Roasted Broccoli takes very few ingredients to make. I generally sprinkle some salt, pepper, lemon seasoning and some olive oil. You could season the broccoli with some Italian or Greek seasoningor any other seasoning of your choice. Or sprinkle it with parmesan. Tweak it according to your taste buds. Just remember to bake it at a high temperature setting in the oven. I like to bake it at 425 degrees F for about 10 to 15 minutes This dish tastes best right out of the oven. Or you can serve it as a side with main course. I even like having this plain roasted broccoli with steamed basmati rice and some tadka dal https://relishdelish.ca/recipes/dal-fry-tadka/
