Dalgona coffee has become a instagram trend during the COVID year of 2020. My children showed it to me and I went back in time to my own university days in India. We used to call it “pheti hui coffee” in Hindi which literally translates as beaten coffee. Well they say this dalgona coffee originated in South Korea but why bother. Just enjoy the coffee 🙂

- With an electric beater, beat 1/4 cup each of instant coffee, powdered sugar and warm water in a medium bowl about 3 minutes, until it becomes light and fluffy. Light peaks should form.
- Put a few ice cubes into 4 serving glasses. Now pour about 1/2 cup milk into each of these glasses.
- Top off each glass with the dalgona and serve chilled!
