Here is an egg recipe which are made in an “appe pan” or “paniyaram chatti”.

- Break 4 eggs in a bowl, add salt and pepper and beat well.
- Add in the chopped onion, tomato, carrot, green chillies, bell pepper, semolina and mix well.
- Heat an "appe chatti" or mini pancake pan and brush the moulds with some butter or oil. Pour a few tablespoon of the egg batter into the moulds and then cover and cook on low medium heat for about 4 or 5 minutes. Flip egg bites with a fork and cook on the other side for 2 minutes, until done.
- Serve warm.
