Spicy Omlette Bites Recipe (An Indian Spiced Egg Recipe )

Here is an egg recipe which are made in an "appe pan" or "paniyaram chatti".

Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp. chopped ginger
  • 3 tbsp. semolina
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper pd.
  • a little grated cheese (optional)
Instructions
  1. Break 4 eggs in a bowl, add salt and pepper and beat well.
  2. Add in the chopped onion, tomato, carrot, green chillies, bell pepper, semolina and mix well.
  3. Heat an "appe chatti" or mini pancake pan and brush the moulds with some butter or oil. Pour a few tablespoon of the egg batter into the moulds and then cover and cook on low medium heat for about 4 or 5 minutes. Flip egg bites with a fork and cook on the other side for 2 minutes, until done.
  4. Serve warm.
