Here is a classic twist on everyone’s favourite summer time dessert.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Mix 4 tbsp. Custard pd. with 100 ml cold milk in a bowl, beating well until there are no lumps.
- Meanwhile, heat 400 ml milk in a heavy bottom pan and bring it to a boil.
- Now add in the custard mix, along with the rose syrup and give it a stir. Let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes until the custard thickens, stirring continuously.
- Add in the ground cardamom and red colouring, if desired.
- Take off heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Once cooled completely, add in the chopped fruits. Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
Notes
Preferably use "plain" or Vanilla flavoured custard for this recipe to bring out the flavours of the rose syrup.
You can garnish this custard with fresh organic rose petals too, if desired.
