“Urulakizhangu mezhukkupuratti’ is an easy to make potato fries recipe from Kerala. This dish tastes very good with rice and curries.

- Peel and cut potato into thin long wedges (like french fries).
- Put potatoes along with rest of the ingredients (except oil) in a small pan. Add a couple of tbsp. of water and par boil the potato for a few minutes until they are semi soft. Let the water evaporate completely.
- Heat oil in a large non stick frying pan. Add in the par boiled potatoes (do not over crowd)and fry until golden brown on all sides. Check for seasonings and serve crispy fried potatoes with rice and curry of choice.
