Masala Chai Tea Recipe With Homemade Chai Spices

In many homes in India, drinking tea is a ritual.  A warm cup of spiced tea is enough to drive morning blues or fatigue away! This tea is also recommended for chasing away the sniffles. For making authentic Indian chai, bring a pot of water to boil. Add the black tea powder, milk & sugar if desired. Bring it to a boil and simmer about 4 to 5 minutes. Add a little chai spice and boil another minute. Strain & serve hot.
