4 Minute Lemon Butter Sole Fillets (A Sole Fish Recipe )

This recipe was inspired by the sole meunière recipe. Sole fillets are seasoned with salt, pepper and some garlic powder. The fillets are  coated with plain flour before panfrying them in clarified butter or ghee. Sole fillets don't take much time to cook. So this is a perfect recipe for a busy weeknight.

  • 4 skinless, boneless sole fillets
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 tbsp. ghee (clarified butter)
  • a little paprika or green herbs of choice for garnish (optional)
  • For Lemon Butter Sauce
  • tbsp. butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice ((half lemon))
