Tomato-Onion Raita ( A yogurt side dish from Kerala )

This is a yogurt dish from my home state of Kerala. It has a distinctive Kerala flavour because of the curry leaves added to it. Onions have cancer fighting properties and is a radical killer, probably that is why it is often eaten as a side with meat dishes since ages. Ginger helps with inflammation and is a good digestive agent. Curry leaves eliminates bacteria, heals wounds and is good for diabetics and aids weight loss. The best part is  it can be put together in under 5 minutes
