Tandoori Gobhi (Indian Spicy Marinated Cauliflower Baked)
Tandoor is a type of clay oven. Tandoori dishes are quite popular in the Indian sub continent. The trick for a tandoori dish lies in it's marinade. Cooking cauliflower in an oven is more prevalent these days in the absence of tandoor.

Ingredients

large cauliflower
Marinade:

1/2
tsp. chilli pd.

tsp. tandoori masala

tsp. cumin pd.

tsp. coriander pd.

tsp. ginger-garlic paste

ltbsp. lemon juice

tbsp. sour cream
(or yogurt)

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Wash and cut cauliflower into bite size pieces/florets. Drain off completely in a colander.

Now put all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.

In a large glass bowl, mix in the marinade onto the florets and marinate about 30 minutes. Leave in the refrigerator.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Line a large baking tray with parchment and arrange the florets without overcrowding the dish. bake about 8 minutes.

Serve warm with yogurt dip, sliced onion, cucumbers and lemon wedges.
