Mexican Hot Chocolate
Mexican hot chocolate is a popular drink. It tastes delicious on its own or served with churros (a deep fried pastry also known as the Spanish doughnut) or any other cookies.

Ingredients

cup semi sweet chocolate chips

ground cinnamon

pinch of cayenne pepper

vanilla extract

pinch of nutmeg
(optional)

cocoa powder
(for dusting)

sugar/sweetner
(optional)
Instructions

Put all the ingredients (except cocoa powder) in a medium saucepan & bring it to a boil, stirring constantly.

Let it simmer on low heat for about 3 to 4 minutes.

Pour the contents into 2 mugs & sprinkle with a dusting of cocoa powder. Serve hot.

Can be served with churros, cookies or even some vanilla ice cream on top :)
