Badam Pista Barfi
Barfi is a sweet dish made in the Indian sub continent. It is primarily made with milk and the texture is similar to that of a fudge. Here is a recipe for Barfi using almonds and pistachios.

cup almond flour

cup ground pistachios

tsp. cardamom pd.

tbsp. ghee

cup condensed milk

drops green food colouring

tbsp. slivered almonds and pistachios
(for garnish)
Instructions

Dry roast pistachios in a pan for a few minutes, cool and grind it into a coarse powder.

Grease a steel plate and keep aside.

In a heavy bottom pan, melt ghee and add ground pistachios and almond flour. Stir well for a few minutes.

Now add condensed milk and a couple of drops of green food colour. Keep stirring continuously for about 5 minutes on low flame until mixture leaves side of pan. Now add ground cardamoms.

Spread the contents evenly onto a greased steel plate. Garnish the top with slivered almonds and pistachios. Let cool and then cut into desired shapes. Store in an airtight container. Will last up to a week in refrigerator.
