Badam Pista Barfi

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 3/4 cup ground pistachios
  • 1/2 tsp. cardamom pd.
  • 1 tbsp. ghee
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 2 drops green food colouring
  • 2 tbsp. slivered almonds and pistachios (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. Dry roast pistachios in a pan for a few minutes, cool and grind it into a coarse powder.
  2. Grease a steel plate and keep aside.
  3. In a heavy bottom pan, melt ghee and add ground pistachios and almond flour. Stir well for a few minutes.
  4. Now add condensed milk and a couple of drops of green food colour. Keep stirring continuously for about 5 minutes on low flame until mixture leaves side of pan. Now add ground cardamoms.
  5. Spread the contents evenly onto a greased steel plate. Garnish the top with slivered almonds and pistachios. Let cool and then cut into desired shapes. Store in an airtight container. Will last up to a week in refrigerator.
