Aloo Paneer
"Aloo Paneer" is one of my son's favourite dishes. It is an easy recipe and tastes good with rotis, parathas and naan.

Instructions

Cut panner into 2 inch cubes and keep aside. Peel and cut potatoes into 2 inch cubes. Dice onions and tomatoes. Chop green chillies and cilantro finely.

Heat 1 tsp.ghee on a non stick pan and fry potato cubes until a little brown on all sides. Take the cubes out on a plate. In the same pan, add paneer pieces and fry paneer cubes until a little brown on all sides. Take the paneer cubes out on a plate.

Now in the same pan, toss the chopped onions until translucent and the raw smell of onions evaporate. Add ginger and garlic and cook for a minute. Now grind the onion, ginger and garlic in a blender, along with the chopped tomatoes and about 1/2 cup water.

Add the fried potato cubes back into the pan, cover and cook for about 3 minutes. Now add the pureed paste and mix well. Add salt, turmeric, chilli pd., cumin pd.,coriander pd and garam masala. Add in a little more water if the curry os too thick. When the potatoes are fully cooked, add in the cream and green chillies and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Then garnish with cilantro leaves and serve.
